Today we are talking - and learning - about happiness. Are you happy? Oh no, that's a dreaded questions right? Sometimes its better not to think about it. Its like being asked if you’re cold, you weren’t cold before but now that’s it’s in your head you start to wonder.
Thousands and thousands of books are written each year with happiness in the title. Happiness is on peoples minds. Are so many adults struggling with the concept of happiness because they weren't taught how to be happy as a child? Is happiness something we can teach? Is happiness already being taught?
Or maybe pure happiness - joy - is something we’re born with. Maybe we lose site of our bliss along the way, and regain it later in life when we reflect on our own children and grandchildren.
As we do - we are speaking with some of the leading experts on happiness from around the country. We hear from various perspectives. From analytical psychological perspectives as well as intuitive holistic spiritual perspectives.

Pamela Johnson - Pamela founded the Secret Society of Happy People in 1998. For the past 20 years she's dedicated her life to unlocking the secret to happiness. Pamela is also the woman behind Happiness Happens Month - which started as Admit You’re Happy Day on August 8, 1999.
Lisa Sampson - Lisa is the owner of LVS Consulting, a boutique consulting firm that helps to build positive organizations with the use of positive psychology tools and techniques. Lisa Sansom works with clients in education from preschool through to higher education, and also many corporate and not-for-profit clients. Lisa completed her Masters of Applied Positive Psychology in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania.
